Footy night post

Yup Friday and everyone around me is watching the footy so I though I would site with them all and post a quick one to once again explain my absence.

WORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What else???????????????

At the moment I am taking over the job of property manager - did I tell you I passed my registration thingy??? and I will also be Office manager but in the meantime until i find someone to do my reception work I am doing all three jobs or trying to.

This afternoon I actually cried when i came home because I forgot the cleaner was coming today and when i got home because I hadn't left a note he had cleaned the WHOLE house they were tears of relief that I didn't have to do it.

So instead I packed up the car for my quilting retreat weekend I can't wait to get up there and catch up with all the girls and sew and chat and not thinkabout work.

And maybe I will even check the second hand shops on Tba and find a bread maker!!! Yes I am still on that tangent!!

So my dear friends thank you for bearing with me - and sticking with me in three weeks i will be back for real and posting much more often.

love you all lots

daisymum

ps; will take photos over the weekend at what everyone got up to.

Hello DM
Its hard when there is so much to do and not enough time to do it
Congrats on passing the test and now having the all important piece of paper.
I remember when dh finally passed his real estate licence - it was several years in the making but to have the full licence instead of just the salesman one was worth all those nights out at school (tafe) and the exams. Never did open his own agency tho'
Hope you enjoy the crafty girlie weekend
Take care
Cathy

Hi DaisyMum

I confess, I have a cleaner who does 2 hours each Thursday. It is fantastic to come home and know the carpets are vacced, the tiles are mopped and the bathrooms/toilets are sparkling. Working like you are at the moment (madwoman with 3 job descriptions!), it would be a godsend. Have a great weekend away - hope you get to catch up with Mandy. For a friend in need, you are a friend indeed.

Cheers - Joolz

Like Margaret, I wish too............ When I worked I had a ceaner come in 2 hours a week too on whatever day she felt like it and I didn't like to say anything. It was nice to come home to a sparkling house though. She would sometimes do the ironing as well. She died after a few months - and it WASN'T from overwork!

I should get a cleaner to take some pressure of my chores. Even an ironing lady would do.

CONGRATULATIONS on your new position, hope things get easier for you soon.

Hope your weekend was just what you needed.
