Hello DaisyMum
Nice to see you the other day, don't worry about the - well just don't worry, you'll get there in the end
Now just think about it - I'm sure you have one of those great big green wheelie bins that has a LID on the top. How are the neighbours going to see whats in it - whether its half full or nearly full lol

I know- its the principle of the thing and getting the others in the house to think about what they are doing with their rubbish and 'cast offs'........BTW I joined the Green Street thingy - don't have anyone to compete with tho - seems no one else in my street knows about it.

Take care and watch out for that red stuff - has a nasty habit of coming back and biting you on the bum!! or should that be head lol

How about cslling it "From the Bottom of my Bin; a Dirty Story".

We have 3 wheeliebins (different colours) and 2 boxes. With just the two of us it's fine but it must be difficult for a bigger family.

love, Angie, xx

Hi DaisyMum

I am the only professional recycler in our household. Noone else can sort toilet rolls, tissue boxes, empty shampoo bottles etc from the bathroom garbage and put it in the right bin. We have a bottle return deposit in South Aus so stubbies are worth 10 cents each and so are drink cans and water bottles so they all add up. I am always dishing out stubbies out of our recycle bin to put them in crates to go get cash back. Grrr! We also have a green waste bin for kitchen scraps and garden clippings - so why do 'others' put food in the landfill bin and rubbish in the green waste bin? Aaargh!
What sort of wine do you have open - I think I need a drink too!
